Join us for our July Kitchen Table Dinner as we welcome Chef Brandy Barnes back to Apple Seeds! She's bringing her "Super Secret Supper Club" out into the open just for us! The concept of this local, roaming NWA culinary experience created by local chefs and friends focuses on sharing heartfelt culinary experiences which is also at the heart of our Dinner Series! Also roaming into the garden will be Sammie, the pH Alchemy cocktail trailer! They will be serving up a summer cocktail paired with the menu to dial up the summer flavors This month's dinner will be inspired by South Chinese cuisine, including a fermented flair - one of chef's favorite things to incorporate! Chef Brandy will spend the evening blending natural flavors, emphasizing the freshness of ingredients and bold flavors. She is constantly looking for the next great flavor combination and believes that our taste buds can take us on great adventures, both familiar and exotic. Seating is limited, so secure your tickets now for joy of an evening with Chef Brandy Barnes on Saturday, July 25, at 6:00pm! We can't wait for you to join us. Featured Chef: Chef Brandy Barnes was raised in Fayetteville and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2011 with a degree in anthropology and religious studies. After earning her degree, she took off to travel across the country and the world over the next 10 years. During this time she fell in love with cooking and eventually managed her own kitchen space in China before moving back to the United States and becoming a chef in the Denver/Boulder area. It was during this time that her love for fermented foods, traditional Chinese cuisine, perfectly cooked pasta and cheese began to really take hold. She holds a certificate from Harvard University in Fermentation Sciences, is the secret behind her Super Secret Supper Club, and collaborates with chefs all over northwest Arkansas. Chef Brandy loves the ever evolving nature of food. In addition to her job as a cheesemonger at Bloom Cheese Collective, she works as a private chef for Eddelbuttel Nutrition and loves getting to balance her passion for cooking with her fervor for all things cheese related!
