Join us for Chefs and Fire as we turn our Teaching Farm into an interactive experience - high tables in the garden, walks through the orchard, mingling by the music, and talking with chefs fireside. June 14th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm!

Chefs and Fire is the little sister to Apple Seeds’ Evening at the Farm Event, spearheaded by the creatives behind Wood Stone, Atlas, Bloom Cheese Collective, Conifer, Ryn, Gaskin’s on Emma, Meiji, and Chūō Izakaya. Imagine some of the most creative chefs in Northwest Arkansas throwing the ultimate backyard cookout. 

Six chefs are swapping their chef jackets and throwing the best casual party of the year. The chefs will create six signature dishes; an unforgettable spread of small plates, each layered with bold flavors, lots of pieces, and vibrant, bright sauces. Each plate will be paired with a curated cocktail or Crisis Brewing Company specialty brew — designed to complement the flavors coming off the flame. Enjoy conversation with the chef, savor one plate, then get up and try another. The chefs will be setting their creativity ablaze to craft a culinary experience out of wood, flame and smoke - everything from plancha to 6’ fire dome.

About the Chefs - These six chefs bring an extraordinary depth of experience and passion to the table. Collectively, they represent 11 current restaurant affiliations, have earned 2 James Beard nominations, and hold countless additional accolades, and industry recognitions. With more than 110 years of combined culinary experience, their journeys have taken them through kitchens in over 18 cities, shaping their craft, broadening their perspectives, and influencing the vibrant food culture they each contribute to today.

What makes their presence even more meaningful is their longstanding connection to our mission. These chefs aren’t just leaders in their field, they’ve been champions of ours from the very beginning. Over the years, they’ve shown up time and again, lending their talent and time to support more than 20 Apple Seeds events, helping us bring people together around food, education, and community.

We are deeply honored to welcome them back - not just as accomplished chefs, but as partners, advocates, and friends - returning to a backyard they’ve helped grow into what it is today.
